jschedules started when a team of ex-bartenders and software engineers got tired of managing schedules in spreadsheets. We've all worked those late-night shifts, juggled availability across multiple venues, and watched managers spend hours trying to fill shifts manually.

We know what it's like when a bartender calls out at 10pm on a Saturday. We've seen the spreadsheets with three different color-coding systems that only make sense to whoever made them. We built jschedules because we needed something better - something that actually understands how nightlife operations work.
